Community Education serves as an outreach arm of the Des Moines Public Schools in strengthening the community.

Our mission is to provide educational, cultural and recreational opportunities responsive to the needs of the citizens of Des Moines which promote the concept of lifelong learning and personal growth for all members of the community.
